Micro-mobility services, from strategy to operation
RÁFAGA Mobility delivers nine services that cover the full lifecycle of a micro-mobility system: from the mobility pattern study that sizes the network, to the training of the team that will operate it. They're contracted separately or as a turnkey project with a single point of responsibility.
The four fronts of work
- Service 01
Strategic consulting: technical and legal groundwork for mobility systems
Before buying a single bicycle, you need to know how many are needed, where to put them and under what rules you can operate. RÁFAGA's strategic consulting answers those three questions with a mobility pattern study, a technical definition of the infrastructure and an analysis of the applicable regulatory framework.

Design of the business model, operating model and team structure
A micro-mobility system is sustained by its economic model and its day-to-day operation, not by the quality of the vehicle. RÁFAGA designs the three pieces that make it sustainable: where the revenue comes from, how the operation is executed, and who executes it.

Turnkey implementation of the system's infrastructure
RÁFAGA deploys every physical and digital component a micro-mobility system needs to launch: management software, vehicles, docking hardware, electrical systems, stations, service centers and logistics vehicles. Delivered installed, tested and in operation.

Team training and support throughout the system's lifecycle
A system delivered without a trained team degrades within months. RÁFAGA trains the people who will operate and maintain the network, and supports the project after launch to correct what real operation reveals.

How they combine in a turnkey project
The four fronts can be contracted separately, but the order in which they're executed isn't arbitrary: consulting produces the numbers the model is designed around, the model defines what infrastructure gets installed, and training makes sure what's installed keeps working once our team steps back.
When the project is contracted in full, RÁFAGA answers for the entire system: one contract, one point of contact and one party responsible for the network launching and operating. See how this applies to municipal projects, residential developments or private operators.
Frequently asked questions about the services
Can I hire just one service?
Yes. Each of the four fronts is contracted independently. The most common starting point is the mobility pattern study, because it's the one that turns an idea into a sized project.
What's the difference between business model and operating model?
The business model defines where revenue comes from and how costs are covered. The operating model defines how the service runs day to day: rebalancing, maintenance, user support and committed service levels.
Does RÁFAGA sell standalone hardware?
The focus is the complete system. Infrastructure is delivered integrated — software, vehicles, docking hardware, stations, electrical system and logistics — because that's the only way to be accountable for the operational outcome.
